Introduction

Moyard offers you a display on four floors of reproduction furniture, ranging from Louis XIII to art deco style. On five floors in the same store you will also find all the new international collections of designer and contemporary furniture.

Our furnishings department places at your disposal more than 10,000 samples of fabrics for curtains and upholstery. We also have workshops available where our wood and textiles artisans have access to countless craft secrets gathered over the years.

Contemporary furniture

In the early 20th century leading furniture designers were often architects. They include Charles Eames and later le Corbusier or, more recently, Mario Botta. With the advent of Bauhaus and Walter Gropius designers began to concentrate more specifically on designing furniture.

Nowadays they diversify their work among industrial design and the design of furniture, lighting or textiles.

Keeping a close watch on all these changes, Moyard arranges its designer furniture displays on five floors and changes them every month. Associated with top-name designers, brand names such as Cassina, Interlubke, Poliform, Flexform, Zanotta, Minotti or Vitra add to the prestige.

Classical furniture

"Art is the place of total freedom." André Suarès

Choosing fine furniture is a talent shared by art lovers. Without fear of elitism, you can count on an attractive design and foster a passion for quality and a strong attraction to this furniture, as if it had been made especially for you. Moyard has cultivated this time-honoured need for fine things for 180 years.

The display currently occupies four floors and offers a choice of reproduction furniture in Louis XIII to art deco style.

Furnishings

We are keen on sharing our passion for detail, as the attractiveness of furniture must also be seen in all the items that add to it: rugs, fabrics or curtains are a major factor in this, as is professional advice.

Our furnishings department places at your disposal more than 10,000 fabric samples for curtains and upholstery. Braid, wallpaper and flooring materials are also included in the range which is displayed over an entire floor.

Workshop

A feature since the time when the Moyard trade name was introduced in Morges, they are the keystones of the company. These wood and textiles artisans have access to countless craft secrets gathered over the years.

The workshops include:

  • A cabinet-making workshop for special furniture orders and restoring antique items.
  • A polishing workshop where furniture is stained, polished and varnished.
  • A workshop of upholsterers-decorators for upholstering furniture, hanging curtains and repairing flooring.
  • A quilting workshop for making up curtains.

Interior design

Our company’s interior design office is able not only to carry out refurbishment and redecoration projects on houses or apartments but also to design houses or outside spaces, working alongside renowned architects.

Consultancy and site management are covered by specific contracts with lump sum or cost basis payments. A number of references testify to the success of this department.
